3. Platform role and eligibility
The platform provides digital tools for compound-related communication, provider discovery, service requests, marketplace listings, visitor passes, support, notifications, reports, and account management. Resident services are intended for residents of Al Zaitoon Compound. Approved providers may be located inside or outside the compound after administrative review. Some features require registration, phone OTP verification, compound membership, or a specific role.
The platform is a technology intermediary. It does not sell marketplace products, does not provide provider services directly, and does not process payments between users and providers.
4. Accounts and security
You must provide accurate information, keep control of your phone number and device, and not allow others to misuse your account. OTP verification, account status checks, and access restrictions may be used to protect the platform. Users under 18 should use the platform only with supervision from a parent or legal guardian.
5. Acceptable use
You must use the platform lawfully, respectfully, and only for legitimate compound, marketplace, provider, support, or communication purposes. You must not disrupt the service, attempt unauthorised access, impersonate others, submit false information, harass users, abuse reports, or misuse notification, visitor pass, support, provider, review, or marketplace features.
6. Prohibited content and conduct
You may not post, offer, request, or promote illegal, unsafe, fraudulent, infringing, abusive, discriminatory, sexually explicit, stolen, counterfeit, regulated, or misleading goods, services, images, comments, reviews, reports, or listings. Prohibited activity may lead to content removal, account restriction, suspension, deletion, or referral to appropriate authorities where lawful.
7. Marketplace and Community Content Rules
Marketplace listings, photos, descriptions, prices, comments, reviews, and similar materials are user-generated content. You are responsible for the accuracy, legality, ownership, and safety of content you publish. You must not list items you do not have the right to offer, misrepresent item condition, use misleading photos, manipulate prices, or publish content that harms other users or the community.
The administration may review, restrict, or remove content, but the platform does not guarantee that all inappropriate or inaccurate content will be detected before publication.
8. Reporting and moderation
Users may report products, service providers, or reviews that they believe violate these Terms. The administration may review reported content and may remove or restrict content, suspend an account, or block access when a violation is confirmed. Submitting a report does not automatically establish that a violation occurred.
False, malicious, repeated, or abusive reports are prohibited. The reported party may not be notified where notice would affect safety, privacy, or an investigation.
9. Transactions between users
Users are responsible for inspecting goods, verifying counterparties, agreeing on delivery or pickup, and resolving payment or product disputes. The platform may assist with reports or moderation where appropriate, but it does not guarantee every listing, product, provider, buyer, seller, or transaction.
10. Service providers and service requests
Providers require administrative approval. Approval does not guarantee every service outcome. Residents should review provider details before making a request. Providers may accept, reject, start, complete, or cancel service requests according to platform functions and applicable provider terms. The administration may suspend providers that breach platform rules.
11. Visitor-pass and security responsibilities
Users who create visitor passes must provide accurate visitor and vehicle information, comply with compound and security rules, not share or misuse QR codes, and cancel passes when they are no longer needed. Security personnel may scan, approve, reject, or record visitor pass actions according to authorised workflows.
12. Intellectual property
The platform, design, software, branding, and documentation are owned by their respective owners. You retain ownership of content you submit, but you grant the platform a limited licence to host, display, process, resize, moderate, and transmit that content as needed to operate the service. You may not copy, reverse engineer, scrape, or misuse the platform or infringe another person's intellectual property.
13. Privacy
Use of the platform is also governed by the Privacy Policy, which explains how personal data is collected, used, shared, retained, and deleted.
14. Suspension, termination, and account deletion
The administration may restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts or content for serious or repeated violations, security concerns, fraud, illegal activity, abuse, or operational necessity. Account deletion is separate from suspension. You may request account deletion through the app or the public deletion resource at /account-deletion. Limited records may be retained as described in the Privacy Policy.
15. Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The platform is provided as a technology service. To the extent permitted by applicable law, the operator is not responsible for independent provider conduct, marketplace item condition, user-to-user payments, service quality, visitor conduct, or losses caused by user misuse. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot legally be limited.
16. Changes, governing framework, and disputes
These Terms may be updated when the service or legal requirements change. Updated versions will be published in the app or on the website. The platform operates for services in Iraq, and disputes should first be raised with support for amicable resolution. Where a dispute cannot be resolved, it may be handled by the competent authorities or courts according to applicable law.
